The 2026 season opens Sunday, April 26 with nearly 70 vendors and a fresh live music lineup at the Breidert Green Stage. The market is operating in three seasons this year — spring (April 26–May 24), summer (May 31–August 30), and fall (September 13–October 25) — with vendor lists rotating slightly between seasons. Returning favorites include Bothwell Farms, Raising Sons Bakery, Martino's Mobile Pizza, and Chef Heatley's Hot Pepper Farm.
The Frankfort Farmers Market is one of the largest in Chicagoland — and for good reason. You'll find a blend of fresh produce, local food artisans, handmade products, and fun weekend energy that draws crowds every week. Expect a changing mix of seasonal goods, live music, and items you won't find anywhere else.
Here is what you can typically find each Sunday:
Fresh fruits and vegetables from local farms
Baked goods, sweet treats, and gourmet snacks
Handmade dips, spreads, oils, jams, and sauces
Crepes, smoothies, avocado toast, and tamales
Local meat, poultry, eggs, and seafood
Artisan soap, body care, and household staples
And of course, coffee. Fresh, smooth, and air roasted, every week.
"We look forward to this one every week — the energy, the people, the setup… It's always buzzing, and we love being part of that Sunday rhythm."
— Eli Coleman, Co-Founder and Head Roaster at Gigawatt Coffee Roasters
Live music is one of the best parts of a Sunday at the market. Performances happen every Sunday morning at the Breidert Green Stage from 10 AM to 1 PM, with rotating local acts throughout the season.

A little planning makes a big difference. The market has something for everyone, and if you take your time, you'll discover more with each visit:
Arrive early for the best selection and shortest checkout waits
Bring a tote or insulated bag for produce and perishables
Carry some cash for vendors who don’t accept cards
Grab breakfast or coffee on-site and enjoy the morning
Bring the family: it’s stroller-friendly and great for all ages
Check the weather: the market is rain or shine, but lighter crowds usually follow a forecast
What you'll find at the market evolves week to week. Early in the season, expect cool-weather crops like greens, radishes, and spring flowers. Summer brings peaches, tomatoes, and just-picked sweet corn. By fall, you'll see pumpkins, apples, squash, and seasonal baked goods fill the booths. Many vendors also rotate their offerings as the months change — so it's never the same market twice.
