Set up in the heart of historic downtown Frankfort, it's a walkable, stroller-friendly experience with street and lot parking, permanent restrooms, and wide paved paths. Most vendors accept credit cards, but it's smart to bring a bit of cash for smaller booths. The market is open rain or shine, and there's always something fresh waiting to be discovered.

The 2026 season opens Sunday, April 26 with nearly 70 vendors and a fresh live music lineup at the Breidert Green Stage. The market is operating in three seasons this year — spring (April 26–May 24), summer (May 31–August 30), and fall (September 13–October 25) — with vendor lists rotating slightly between seasons. Returning favorites include Bothwell Farms, Raising Sons Bakery, Martino's Mobile Pizza, and Chef Heatley's Hot Pepper Farm.

The Frankfort Farmers Market is one of the largest in Chicagoland — and for good reason. You'll find a blend of fresh produce, local food artisans, handmade products, and fun weekend energy that draws crowds every week.
